The 4th of July holiday weekend is upon us. With the actual holiday falling on Tuesday this year, we are expecting the holiday to turn it into one long weekend. We ask that you make your plans and boat move requests in the BoatCloud App as soon as possible. Please come early and check in with one of our team members to let us know you are here and ready for your boat to be launched. Boaters that use the BoatCloud App will have priority over walk-ups. If you need help with using the BoatCloud App or setting it up, please call the Marina Office (912-598-1901).
If you need to have your boat placed in the water before we open or after we close, please make note of that in BoatCloud when you make your reservation. You can simply say that you are coming down after hours or before opening to let us know to put the boat in the water without you being present.
We will be expecting a lot of boats to go out on Monday night to see the Savannah Yacht Club Fireworks. Please be careful and mindful when you bring your boat back into the basin that evening. Secure your boat safely and make sure to use your bumpers. We will need some time that next morning to get the basin cleared of boats before launching more boats.
We will be limiting bags of ice to no more than five per customer due to high demand over the long weekend.Â
Remember, during these hot days please stay hydrated and use plenty of sunscreen. Â
Landings Harbor Pier
The Public Works crew has been working hard all week on construction of the new pier. It is scheduled to be re-opened this weekend. Stay tuned for updates from The Landings Association.

The Landings Harbor Store is decked out in its 4th of July finest! Come enjoy the beautiful natural views with a patriotic flair. Inside you’ll find ice-cold refreshments, light snacks, something for your sweet tooth, Leopold’s single serve cups, and ice cream novelties.Â
Landings Harbor Storage Â
All the new dry rack slips that became available after the completion of phase one have been assigned. The wet slips and jet ski spaces are 100% full. We will continue maintaining the wait lists and fill openings based on availability and boat size.
Landings Dry Storage Activity
A total of 525 boat movements were completed last week. More than 310 were done between Saturday and Sunday.Â
Operating Hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily
With the holiday approaching I anticipate boats from LHM will want to come here. You will need to call ahead so we are sure to put you somewhere that is available. We have some large transient vessels scheduled to come in, so space will be limited. Remember, all our slips belong to someone so don't assume if there's no boat when you get here that there's no boat coming.
Members are reminded that crab traps must be properly identified with a green buoy and checked every 24 hours. Traps that don't comply will be pulled.
We've had some people fishing off the fuel dock after hours lately and that is expressly prohibited. The areas you can fish are between the fixed pier and the floating bulkhead, and off the ends of the fixed pier. This is to prevent fishing lines from getting wrapped around the props of our boaters, which happened the other night.
I hope everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable weekend!
