Pianist Alan Woo at The Arts at Messiah 2023

Enjoy the musical sounds of Alan Woo on June 9 at 7 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church (1 West Ridge Road, Skidaway Island)

Praised by The New York Times as a pianist with “assurance and vitality,” pianist Alan Woo made his Lincoln Center debut at 19, performing at Alice Tully Hall with the Juilliard Orchestra under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin. He has been a member of the faculty at the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music since late 2021.  

The evening will include an exciting program of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and works of Chopin, including his Rondo in E-flat Major. Reservations not required and there is no admission charge. However,  donations for the concert series are welcomed.
