Roof and Rack’s contractor has been very busy this past week. The new rack building added at the end of the aisle was assembled and the roof has been installed. Second level bunk beams and roofing are being installed this week. We expect that phase one will be completed before Memorial Day weekend.
If your boat is in the K, L, or M racks please give us several hours’ notice that you need your boat moved as the construction crew uses that area as a staging space for the construction materials and vehicles and may not be able to get to your boat easily.

Boat Wash Service Update
We do offer boat washes at Landings Harbor Marina. We do those during the weekdays only and as time and staffing is available. There are two options. The Deluxe Wash includes a wash with boat soap and freshwater rinse and flushing of the outboard engines priced at $4 per foot. The Basic Wash is a simple freshwater rinse of the boat and flushing of the motor. This service is a flat $20. You may request either boat wash through a boat movement with a comment (Deluxe vs. Basic Wash and when you need it completed) on the BoatCloud App or you may call the store and let us know.

The Landings Sailing Club held their bi-weekly Beer Can Sail and Social Event last Friday. It was a beautiful afternoon for sailing with even more members joining in at the Dockside Bar for their post sailing social event. If you’re looking for a fun club to join at The Landings, this is it. You will learn how to sail and make new friends while doing so. They do sail throughout the year as weather permits and get together for social events too. You may participate in group outings and/or become trained and then permitted to take a sailboat out individually anytime during the week. The cost is $65 per month. For more information, email them (landingssailing@gmail.com).
***The class is filling up! Don’t miss your chance to learn how to sail! The Landings Sailing Club is collaborating with a certified SEAS (Society for the Education of American Sailors) instructor to offer a Basic Sailing Course. The class is intended to teach the basics of sailing to those 21 and over who have never been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. The two-day intensive course includes interactive classroom instruction plus an on-the-water session to practice boat and sail-handling skills. The next class will be May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For questions or more information, call Angela Margolit (973-296-8011). To register, email her (amargolit@hotmail.com).
Landings Harbor Storage  Â
The dry slips are fully occupied.  We are using open slips currently to temporarily house boats displaced while we work on the rack replacement project. The wet slips and jet ski spaces are 100% full. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips and will fill the slips as available.
