CDD Weekly Update

The CDD team has been busy this week. Following is a closer look at what they've been working on.

Private Property Maintenance Standards

Staff performed routine inspections in Phase II this week. Follow-up and requested inspections were conducted throughout the island. This week, five properties were contacted regarding a violation of the Private Property Maintenance Standards, and two properties were contacted to provide courtesy education regarding property maintenance standards.

Architectural Review Committee Legal Orientation
On February 27, members of the Architectural Review Committee and staff attended a legal orientation via Microsoft Teams with George Nowack of Nowack Howard. Topics discussed included establishment and authority granted by the governing documents, roles and responsibilities, defensible decision making, and case law, followed by an engaging question and answer session.
