On the Security Scene
On December 17, Landings Security responded to a report of vandalism. A resident on Little Comfort Road stated his house and car had been egged and believes the eggs left permanent damage to his car. The incident may have been linked to a high school rivalry and recent basketball game. No witnesses or suspects were identified at the time of the report.

Suspicious PersonÂ
On December 18, Security responded to a suspicious person adjacent to lagoon #14 taking pictures. Upon approaching the person, he was identified as a guest of a Landings resident and stated he was simply taking pictures of the lagoon’s wildlife.
Motor Vehicle Incident
On December 18, Security assisted The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s Loss Prevention and Safety staff and responded to a report of a motor vehicle incident in the Oakridge Club parking lot. An employee’s parked vehicle sustained damages. The person responsible, later identified as the guest of a Landings resident, had left a note and telephone number. Contact eventually was made with the other party involved, and both parties agreed to resolve the issue. The report was forwarded to Club management.Â
Handicap ParkingÂ
On December 16, Security assisted Club staff regarding allegations of a driver inappropriately using a handicap parking space. The report was forwarded to Club management.Â
Warnings and CitationsÂ
- A warning citation was issued to a vendor with an RFID equipped vehicle for not displaying logos or properly utilizing safety cones.Â
- Two Landings Golf & Athletic Club employees were issued warnings for tailgating into the community. TLC’s Human Resources Department received a copy of the report.Â
