Landings Harbor Marina

The weather has gone from being nearly 80 degrees to being very chilly here over the past week. Several people took advantage of the warmer temperatures, and there were also some determined sailors and boaters that bundled up and enjoyed the brisk breezes out on the water.

New Boat and Jet Ski Storage Rates

Beginning January 2023, Landings Harbor dry storage rate will adjust to $16.50 per-foot per month, Landings Harbor wet slip rate will adjust to $17 per-foot per month, Jet Ski storage will adjust to $125 per month, and Delegal Creek Marina will adjust to $14.50 per-foot per month. We will no longer be charging the monthly $40 Operations Fee. Email correspondence has gone out to our boaters to inform them of these changes. If you have any questions, feel free to call or email Jen Sabo at 912-598-5503 or jennifers@landings.org.

CCA of Skidaway 2022 Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’ Event

CCA of Skidaway hosted the 2022 Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’ at Landings Harbor this past Sunday. There were more than 250 attendees who enjoyed the terrific food and the beautiful December sunshine. The much-appreciated proceeds to CCA GA will help to continue with the mission of improving the coastal marine habitat for the enjoyment of all our inshore and offshore anglers.

Marina Ship’s Store

Only a week of shopping left! Do not forget to do some holiday shopping with us at the Landings Harbor store. We are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day up until Christmas Day. We have nautical and custom ornaments, apparel, hats and Tervis cups that would make great gifts. The custom stainless-steel tumblers and sets of rocks glasses that have taken longer than expected are due to arrive by early next week.

Landings Sailing Club

The Landings Sailing Club held its Holiday Party at the Sunset Pavilion on Monday, December 12. There were more than 64 festively dressed members, live music, a Secret Santa gift exchange, awards presented, and delicious food catered by Papa’s Bar-B-Q on Wilmington Island. The event was planned and venue beautifully decorated by Dianne Bloom. (If you know, you know. There may have been a Michigan cake there too due to a lost bet, for the second year in a row. O-H..!)

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is at full capacity with a couple open slips in the process of being filled by the end of this month. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips. As a reminder, if you are going to give up your slip permanently, you must provide a written 30-day notice. You may do so by emailing jennifers@landings.org.
