Landings Harbor Marina

We are getting super busy, especially on the weekends now. We really appreciate it if everyone would use the BoatCloud App to schedule your boat movement requests. In some cases, we may not launch vessels until members arrive due to limited staging area in the basin. We are still closing daily at 5 p.m. until Saturday, May 28, when hours extend to 8 p.m. on weekends. Keep this in mind because we get a lot of unannounced activity at the end of each of these summer-like days.

Dry Stack Project Update

MacAljon Engineering began scanning the dry rack foundations on Wednesday to create an “As-Built” drawing of the rack structures. This work is intended to determine whether the footers under the existing racks can support the new buildings and substantially reduce the cost of this project.

Marina Ship’s Store

The new merchandise that was shown here last week is doing very well. We were thrilled with the reaction to the new toddler and youth size solar shirts and the coordinating hoody for adults. These would make adorable family photos on your vacation this year!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

50^th Anniversary Merchandise

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our 50th Anniversary merchandise table at the event this past Sunday! It was nice to see familiar faces and get to meet new ones. There are only about a dozen Tervis tumblers left with the special logo. Now is the time to get your “Cheers to 50 Years” merchandise before it’s sold out.

Landings Sailing Club

The Beer Can Race/Social was well attended last Friday. They had 10 guests sailing along with them on seven boats. The wind was perfect and allowed them to sail up towards Turner’s Creek before returning to the marina for a social gathering around the Dockside Bar.

Saturday and Sunday, several members participated in the 2022 Wassaw Cup Regatta sponsored by the Savannah Yacht Club. 17 boats in all participated. Our J/24 boats finished 2nd and 3rd.

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is at full capacity. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips.

Delegal Creek Marina

Delegal Creek has had a high number of transient boaters recently. It's always fun to check out these impressive vessels that stay overnight. We do our best to accommodate our traveling friends.

The first holiday of summer is approaching, and we've already had a lot of kayaking. Our rental kayaks have all been reserved for Saturday May 28. That leaves Sunday and Monday available. Give us a call if you'd like to reserve some time to enjoy a paddle around Delegal Creek.
