Verizon Laying Fiber in Some Areas of The Landings

Recently, Verizon and its subcontractors have been on island laying fiber optic cable. This is to better connect its cellular equipment in three locations -- McWhorter Drive just before Evergreen Tree Service, Landings Way North near the Dog Park, and Landings Way South behind the Association’s Public Works Administration Building.
This is not for home internet service.
Work should be completed by early August.
