Vehicle vs Golf Cart

On November 25, at approximately 6:40 p.m., TLA Security and CCPD responded to a vehicle vs. golf cart incident at The Deck. The golf cart was driving the wrong way in the parking lot. Only minor injuries were sustained, and both parties refused medical treatment.

Gas Leak

On November 24, at approximately 11:27 p.m., TLA Security and CES responded to a gas leak on Franklin Creek Road South. Upon inspection, CES found only a minimal amount of gas in the area. CES determined the scene safe and departed at approximately 11:46 p.m.

Unauthorized Work

On Sunday, November 24, a vendor gained access as a guest and proceeded to perform yard work at the residence. The vendor was reminded about TLA’s vendor rules and only emergency work being performed on Sundays. He ceased working and was escorted off the property.

Open Vehicle Door

On November 24, at approximately 1:26 a.m., a Patrol Officer observed a vehicle’s car door open, and no one in the general area. The vehicle’s owner was contacted, and she stated she had left the car door open. The vehicle was inspected. Nothing was missing, and the vehicle’s door was secured.

Vehicle vs. Mailbox

On November 23, at approximately 8:05 p.m., a Patrol Officer swerved to avoid hitting a deer, and the vehicle’s mirror came into contact with a mailbox. Minor damage to the mirror was sustained, and no damage to the mailbox was reported.

Theft

On November 22, between the hours of 6:15 and 8:20 p.m., a cooler containing alcohol was stolen from a resident’s golf cart parked at The Deck. No witnesses could be identified. Club staff were advised of the incident and requested to keep a lookout for suspicious activities.

Open Front Door

On November 22, at approximately 9:49 a.m., a vendor notified TLA Security that a front door to a residence was left open. No signs of forced entry were observed, and the home appeared to be in order. The homeowner was contacted and advised of the incident and our actions.
