How to Become a L.O.V.E. Mentor

During the last school year, Local Outreach Volunteer Educators (L.O.V.E.) mentors helped more than 300 children in the Savannah Title 1 schools. The program was so successful that the schools have asked us for more mentors this coming year.

L.O.V.E. mentors focus on early elementary students who need extra help in reading or math. Many of these students thrive with the one-on-one support a mentor provides. We are looking for dedicated men and women willing to give an hour each week to help a child. No prior experience is required, just a desire to help young people succeed in school and life. Support and training are provided by experienced mentors.
