Memorial Day Weekend is considered the unofficial beginning of summer, and The Landings Association plans to welcome summer in style with a day full of fun! Join your friends and neighbors on May 25 at Landings Harbor Marina starting at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and HarborFest activities.

This year’s event includes fishing and crabbing tutorials on the pier, short scenic rides in the Rhodes 19 sailboats and Carefree motorboats, and a water rescue demonstration from the United States Coast Guard (permitting there are no actual emergencies requiring their assistance during the time of the event).

Thanks to Friends of Skidaway Audubon, Thompson’s Nursery will be on site with native plants to help get your landscape ready for butterflies and other pollinators. Skidaway Island Boating Club, The Landings Kayak Club, and Carefree at The Landings will have representatives on site to showcase the offerings of their respective clubs.

Food trucks on site will be Molly McPherson’s, Chick-fil-A, 5 Spot, Leopold’s, and Little Diddles, and the Tiki Bar will be open for your favorite adult treats. The Tiki Bar will accept cash only, and the food trucks will accept cash and credit cards.
