The Savannah Morning News is featuring an interesting article about the upcoming Savannah Golf Championship .
It is the first professional golf tournament hosted by The Landings, and the first pro event for Savannah since the Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf on the Champions Tour left town in 2013.
With the help of Old Savannah Tours, patrons can trolley onto the island by way of trolley. Fans can park at Bethesda School for Boys on Ferguson Avenue and, for just $5, receive all day parking and transportation to and from Deer Creek. All of the proceeds generated from the parking fees will be returned to Bethesda as just one of the many charitable contributions planned for the week.

When: Round one begins Thursday, March 29th with a 7:00am opening ceremony, first groups teeing off at 7:30am. Round 2 (Friday): 7:10am start, round 3 (Saturday): 8:00am start, final round (Easter Sunday): Sunrise service by Deer Creek hole #18, 8:00am start.
