Fire

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Security and Chatham County Fire Department (CCFD) responded to Odingsell Lane for a report of a fire. The resident reported they had some electrical work performed and had a small fire in the attic area, which they had extinguished. CCFD checked the residence and confirmed the fire was extinguished.

 

Found BB Gun

While performing a routine check of the gazebo off of Log Landing Road on Sunday, December 8, a Security Officer found what appeared to be a firearm on the green of Oakridge hole #15. Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) was contacted and identified the weapon as a BB gun. The BB gun was secured, and a copy of the report was forwarded to The Landings Golf and Athletic Club (TLGAC).

Welfare Checks

Security Officers responded to several requests for welfare checks on residents during the week. All of the residents were found to be well and contacted their concerned friends or family. 

Traffic Safety

The Guardian Pro camera/LIDAR system was removed from Shellwind Drive and placed at Public Works to perform routine maintenance.  

TLA Rules and Regulations Enforcement (sans Guardian Pro)

  • Two violations were issued to vendors for not having safety cones.
