2024 Storm Drain Project
Southeast Pipe completed Area 1 and 2 of this year’s storm drain project this week. Staff and Southeast Pipe are working to complete minor restoration efforts in and around the construction sites in Marshwood before the contractor demobilizes.
Hurricane Helene Restoration and Clean-up
The Public Works Department continues to address the restoration and clean-up post Hurricane Helene. Staff and its contractors continued to remove dangerous “hangers”, or broken tree limbs, that pose a potential threat overhanging roads and community paths. Next week, staff will work to remove trees and branches that have fallen into and/or around lagoons.
Oakridge Gazebo Community Path Bridge
On Wednesday, the railings were installed on the Oakridge Gazebo Community Path Bridge that runs from Log Landing Road to Hasleiter's Retreat, which completed the restoration and reinforcement of the bridge.
