CEMA Weekend Winter Weather Briefing

Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) shared via its 1 p.m. email briefing today (January 16) that the team is monitoring the potential threat of winter weather this weekend. According to recent reports, the biggest threat to our area is the potential for some black ice on bridges/elevated roadways on Sunday night (January 18) into Monday morning (January 19). We are expected to get some rainfall on Saturday (January 17) through Sunday (January 18), with temperatures getting down to freezing values in the early Monday morning hours (January 19).
