Landings Security to Increase Gate Staffing on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

The holiday season is a particularly busy period for Landings Security as officers and volunteers manage the increased flow of expected arrivals within the community. The term "expected arrival" not only refers to family members or friends of residents, it also includes vendors, deliveries,  catering companies, etc. On average, Landings Security processes approximately 29,663 expected arrivals each month—a figure that rises significantly during the holidays, often resulting in extended entry wait times.

To mitigate delays and expedite visitor entry, Landings Security will deploy additional personnel during peak hours at the Oakridge, Deer Creek/Village, and North (Marshwood) gates on Christmas Eve (December 24) and Christmas Day (December 25). Additionally, training currently is taking place to get Security Gate Volunteers ready to help at the Main Gate during the holidays.

Residents are encouraged to advise their guests that although Google Maps and other mapping software typically will direct entries through the North (Marshwood) and Deer Creek/North (McWhorter) gates, it may be quicker to use the Main Gate depending on your destination. You also can use the Deer Creek/Village Gate for entrance into Deer Creek.

Below is the schedule for additional holiday staffing for the Oakridge, Deer Creek/Village, and North (Marshwood) gates.

  • Christmas Eve -  Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Christmas Day -  11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Landings Security remains committed to ensuring a convenient and pleasant experience for all visitors. Residents are encouraged to preauthorize their guests and vendors and provide clear instructions regarding their destination within the property to facilitate an efficient entry process. You can Preauthorize guests and vendors via gateaccess.net using the information below.

  • The Community Code is TLA
  • Your Username is your primary email address TLA has on file
  • Your Password is your TLA Personal Identification Number (P.I.N.)

While extra staff will be available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, brief wait times may still occur as security procedures are adhered to; these measures are vital for maintaining the safety and integrity of the community. Your understanding and cooperation, as well as that of your visitors, is greatly appreciated.

We wish you a safe and joyful holiday season.
