Community Marketing & Real Estate Update
It’s Giving Season in The Landings - A Community That Shows Up
As the holiday season arrives, The Landings takes on a familiar glow. Lights appear in windows, porches fill with greenery, and neighbors gather for celebrations large and small. But beneath the festivities, something deeper rises to the surface. This is when our island’s instinct for generosity becomes unmistakable. Giving back isn’t just a trend here - it’s part of who we are.
The Landings Real Estate Company (TLREC) is grateful to be woven into that tradition. As the only real estate company that reinvests its success back into The Landings, we see community involvement not as an annual task but as a year-round responsibility. Through partnerships, service, financial contributions, and hands-on participation, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to strengthen the people and organizations that make this island such an exceptional place to live.
Over the past year, TLREC has continued to be actively involved with organizations whose work makes a meaningful difference throughout Savannah and Skidaway Island.
Goodwill of Southeast Georgia
This year brought the launch of our First Fridays for Goodwill donation drives. What started as a simple collection idea in our back parking lot, quickly became part of the rhythm of island life. Each month, residents dropped off clothing, books, household goods, and small furniture — contributions that help fuel Goodwill’s mission to create job opportunities, training programs, and pathways toward stability.
Kiwanis Club of Skidaway
Our continued Diamond Level partnership with the Kiwanis Club reflects a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation. Kiwanis enriches children’s lives across Savannah, and TLREC is proud to stand alongside them as they invest in youth leadership, learning, and service.
Landings Landlovers
As a Platinum Sponsor for Landlovers, our company is honored to help sustain the organization’s scholarships, community grants, and beloved events. Landlovers brings neighbors together in ways that are both fun and deeply meaningful. Being part of its mission at the highest sponsorship level speaks to our dedication to island life.
We Love Extending Our Reach Across Savannah
Beyond these major partnerships, TLREC contributes to organizations whose work touches lives across the region.
We love supporting Union Mission, whose housing programs and services help individuals and families rebuild their lives.
Giving to Together for a Cure, and helping advance education, research, and resources for breast cancer patients and survivors, is one of the many ways our Company and our community shows grace and commitment to those facing their hardest battles.
And close to home, TLREC continues to find ways to support The Village Library, The Landings Military Family Relief Fund, and a variety of neighborhood initiatives that add richness to everyday life on the island.
A Team That Gives Back Personally, Too
The Landings’ generous spirit shines through our agents and staff as well. Most of them dedicate their own time to causes throughout Savannah -- volunteering with nonprofits, mentoring children, serving on boards, participating in Together for a Cure walks and fundraisers, supporting faith-based outreach, organizing neighborhood drives, or simply being the kind of neighbors who quietly show up when someone needs help. Their efforts deepen our Company’s impact and reflect the heart of this community.
The Angel Tree Tradition Returns for the 27th Year
Of all the traditions that mark the season, the Angel Tree remains one of our most treasured. The tree is up, the angels are placed, and once again, the Landings community is rallying to brighten the holidays for children served by CASA and the MARNE/HAAF Military Families Toy Drive.
Now through December 12, residents may stop by the TLREC office, choose an angel, and pick up that child’s wish list. Gifts should be new and unwrapped, with the angel card attached. Whether you select one item or several, every contribution delivers joy and dignity to a child who needs it most.
Remember to Join Us at the Landlovers Golf Cart Parade
Another beloved tradition returns on December 7 -- the Landlovers Golf Cart Parade, benefitting The Marines Toys for Tots. This fantastically creative event brings out the best of The Landings - tons of fun, and collective generosity. TLREC will be there with bells on… You’ll find us under our tent where we’ll have something festive for the adults to sip on as we celebrate the holidays Landings-style. Don’t forget to bring a toy or two!
With Gratitude
There’s an old saying: To those who have been given much, much is expected. Here in The Landings, that idea isn’t a burden - it’s a value we share. This community lifts people up, looks after its neighbors, and invests in the well-being of others year after year.
Our Company is honored to play a part in that legacy. When The Landings Real Estate Company thrives, the community thrives - and every reinvested dollar, every partnership, and every act of service helps strengthen the place we all call home.
As we enter this season of gratitude, we extend heartfelt thanks to our community. Your trust, generosity, and engagement make our work possible. We are deeply grateful for your patronage and for the spirit of kindness that defines The Landings.
From all of us at The Landings Real Estate Company, we wish you and your loved ones a warm, joyful, and peaceful holiday season.
