Charter Established for The Landings Company Leadership Council
In the spirit of partnership and collaboration, The Landings Association (TLA), The Landings Company (TLCo), and The Landings Golf & Athletic Club (TLGAC) have established a Charter for The Landings Community Leadership Council. The charter was ratified by the Board Presidents of all three organizations at a signing ceremony on January 8, 2025.

Organizing the Council was the idea of 2024 TLA Board President Bill Bina and 2024 TLGAC Board President Bob Hainly. The Charter marks a significant step forward in the entities’ collective efforts to enhance the overall community experience for all residents of The Landings.
The primary purpose of the Council is to identify and address common core issues and initiatives that advance the Landings Community Vision: “To be the most vibrant and desirable private residential community in the Southeast. committed to creating opportunities for an active lifestyle and assuring environmental sensitivity. We offer premier golf, athletic, and social amenities, and a community providing security and quality of life.” This vision will be reviewed annually by the Council to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with the community's goals.
TLA, as the homeowner’s association, focuses on promoting the health, safety, and welfare of residents, identifying core issues, and strategic planning. TLCo, a wholly owned subsidiary of TLA, is the primary marketing entity for The Landings and works closely with TLGAC on marketing initiatives. TLGAC is responsible for creating a fulfilling club experience, delivering abundant golf, athletic, and social amenities, and developing meaningful personal relationships for its members.
By leveraging the results from member surveys and strategic planning, the Council aims to develop cooperative tasks and establish annual priorities. Council members are responsible for promoting these initiatives within their respective organizations, working together to meet annual goals, evaluating the success of these initiatives, and making modifications as needed.
TLA Board President Patty Morgan said leadership of all three entities are eager to begin working together and creating a Charter for the group was the first step in this process.
“I am incredibly excited about the partnership between TLA, TLCo, and TLGAC,” Morgan said. “The collaboration between these entities is crucial for the success of the Landings community. We look forward to the positive impact this Council and Charter will have on our community and are eager to work together to achieve our shared goals.”
Eric Larson, President of TLCo’s Board echoes Morgan’s excitement and said he, too, believes the partnership between the organizations is a win-win.
"The Landings Company real estate business itself, founded by this community to provide national marketing and brokerage services, is an example of prior collaboration between our Club and Association," said Eric Larson.
2025 Landings Golf & Athletic Club Board President Mark Lastner agrees with Morgan and Larson that the community will benefit from the joint work between the entities.
“On behalf of the Landings Golf & Athletic Club's Board of Governors, we are excited to be a part of this new Community council . We are committed to cooperating with TLA and TLco leadership on any and all issues and solutions to keep our community moving forward.
Special thanks to the Club's immediate past president, Bob Hainly, for his energy and focus on this important strategic objective,” said Mark Lastner.
