Deer Creek North/McWhorter Gate Inoperable

Sat, 12/28/2024

Currently, the entry lane of the Deer Creek North/McWhorter Gate, located off McWhorter Drive, is inoperable.

TLA Public Works staff identified that the Continental Control Panel malfunctioned. The Continental Control Panel translates data from Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFIDs), sends the data to the gate controller, and the controller opens the gate. Staff replaced the malfunctioning part with a spare part kept on hand for such emergencies. Unfortunately, the spare Continental Control Panel did not fix the issue, and the gate vendor has been notified.

Due to the vendor's holiday schedule, the gate could remain inoperable until mid-next week.

While the gate is down, residents are asked to use the Deer Creek Village Gate.

The Landings Association apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your patience as the vendor works to repair the Deer Creek North Gate.
