The Marinas staff worked with Dolan Yacht Services to clear the marsh wrack between the seawall and the Southside floating dock throughout the week. As Hurricane Milton organized in the Gulf of Mexico, staff returned to hurricane prep mode, securing the marina for the threat of tropical force winds and storm surge. On Thursday, the marina operated with a minimum staff while monitoring the movement of Milton throughout the day. On Friday, staff returned the property back to normal operating status. Staff met with our insurance adjusters to evaluate the storm damage on Sunday morning. Proposals, costs, and expenses from the storm are being gathered from subcontractors familiar with the property. The floating docks will be inspected by Bellingham Marine (floating dock manufacturer) on Monday.

Delegal Creek Marina

Normal Operating Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Delegal Creek Marina appeared to have weathered Tropical Storm Helene well. Minimal damage has been recorded at the Marina. As Hurricane Milton organized in the Gulf of Mexico, staff returned to hurricane prep mode, securing the marina for the threat of tropical force winds and storm surge. The marina remained fully operational throughout the day.
