Hurricane Helene Recovery Efforts
The Public Works Department, in conjunction with BrightView, and R&D Tree have been working throughout the community this week to clear downed trees from the roadways, along with clearing trees and debris from side roads and common property. To date, all roads have been cleared from obstructions.
All primary roads have been cleared (i.e. Landings Way South, Landings Way North, Shellwind Drive, etc.) and all crews are working to address felled debris located along the secondary streets. The street sweepers are currently working on primary roadways and will progress to the secondary roads thereafter. Community paths also have been cleared, with the exception of Nature Trail as a significant number of trees fell at the north end of nature trail. Crews will address this area as soon as possible.
Crews will be onsite Saturday working to continue hurricane recovery efforts.
