Tropical Storm Helene Update (September 25 @ 10:15 a.m.)
All eyes remain on Tropical Storm Helene as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico. Helene is expected to rapidly intensify as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico.
In its 9 a.m. update, Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) shared that the storm continues to track well to the west of Chatham County. The largest threat to our area is for isolated tornadoes. Most of the rainfall (predicted 2-4”) is expected to occur Thursday (September 26) into Thursday night.
