Skidaway Farms Offers Classes for Children's Garden

Did you know that your child (age five to 13) can learn to grow organic vegetables at Skidaway Farms? During our weekly, "hands-on"  class experience, the Children's Garden grows and harvests fall crops such as kale, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, potatoes, beets, carrots, lettuce, chard, and more!

All the children work together in one Big Garden and then progress to their own smaller-sized individual plot. Classes for the next growing season run from early October through February and costs $40 per child. Classes are held Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. To sign up or for more information, email Jane Kollmann (gardenher52@aol.com).
