Budget Box: Speed Violation Fine Structure
The Landings Association counted 3,299,041 vehicles that entered the community in 2023 and recorded a total of 18,500 active RFIDs at year’s end. According to the 2023 United States Census Bureau population estimate, the number of vehicles that entered the gates would be similar in size to the metro area of Denver, Colorado.
In the first half of 2024, a Radar Placard Trailer was placed throughout various points in the community to monitor the speed of vehicles. Vehicles who violated the posted speed limit received warnings as a reminder to slow down. Beginning on July 1, 2024, the Association will implement fines to offenders as illustrated below:
Speeding Violations:
**Recommendation for suspension of driving privileges in the community for 30 days**
The Association asks everyone to be part of the pursuit for a safer community by being conscious of your speed while driving.
