Reporting Injured Wildlife

By Greg Freeman - gregf@landings.org
Natural Resources Manager

As stewards of this beautiful community, we must watch out for each other and the wildlife that consider this island home. If you observe wildlife that appears to be injured, please follow the notification procedure listed below. We want to reduce any animal’s suffering, if possible, and the best way to do this is to report the problem. Remember, for your safety, never attempt to approach an injured animal as your helpfulness may be confused as danger causing it to attack.

  • Monday- Friday before 3:30 p.m., notify Natural Resources Manager Greg Freeman (912-598-5506)
  • Monday-Friday after 3:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday, notify Landings Security (912-598-1982, option 2)
