Skidaway Audubon's Chimney Cove Project

Skidaway Audubon's newest project is Chimney Cove. You will find the Chimney Cove's tower at Priest Landing across from Dame Kathryn.

The Chimney Swifts are birds that use hollowed trees or people's chimneys to nest during the spring and summer months. They are just migrating back into Georgia now and you will hear them as they "chitter" in the sky. They eat thousands of mosquitoes each day!

More information to come! We will let you know when the Chimney Cove project has been added to the Skidaway Audubon website (www.SkidawayAudubon.org).
