Join the Skidaway Abigails on April 30 for a Homeless Authority tour. The group will start the morning at the DFCS Building (761 Wheaton Street), where participants will meet with Executive Director Jen DuLong and her team from Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless (CSAH). They will highlight how this coordinating and leadership body provides services annually to more than 4,000 homeless men, women, and children in Chatham County.

This will be followed by a tour of The Cove at Dundee, a tiny home community for veterans exiting homelessness that has helped more than 100 veterans achieve self-sufficiency. Next up is a tour of Dundee Cottages, a 40-unit tiny home neighborhood next to the Cove at Dundee that currently is under development for families and individuals exiting homelessness.

Note: If you want to carpool, please meet at Skidaway Methodist Church at 9 a.m. Should you choose to drive yourself, we will meet in the main lobby of the DFCS Building (761 Wheaton Street) at 9:30 a.m. The tour will begin at 10:15 a.m. We will head back to Skidaway Island at approximately 11:30 a.m.
