2024 Road Repair and Maintenance Project - Main Gate

In-house staff, in conjunction with our contractors completed the widening of a section of Landings Way South/Landings Way North outside of the Main Gate in preparation for its closure next week.

As a reminder, the Main Gate closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1. Staff began communicating this closure three weeks ago and will continue communicating updates related to the project with the utilization of the electronic signs and emails.

Curb and Community Path Panel Repairs

This week, Absolute Concrete completed damaged curb repairs in Deer Creek and Moon River. They will begin working on the repair of damaged community path panels on the south end of the island along Yam Gandy Road and Delegal Road.

2024 Storm Drain Project

Southeast Pipe has been surveying storm drain pipes located in the Marshwood area this week in preparation for this year’s capital project.

Club Car Championship Preparations

All preparations for the Club Car Championship have been completed. BrightView completed the pine straw application in Deer Creek at the gatehouses and center islands. Additionally, staff converted the bulbs in the streetlights on both sides (entry and exit lanes) of Deer Creek Village Gate to LEDs this week.

Street sweeper schedules have been modified to allow for earlier street sweeping cycles before the tournament begins each day.
