Captain Judy Helmey of Miss Judy Charters is the guest speaker for CCA Skidaway’s April 8 Seminar starting at 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (3 Ridge Road).

Miss Judy is no stranger to our area. Her family business has been operating for more than 50 years in the Savannah and Tybee area. She has served as a panelist for several state and regional conferences concerning wildlife and fisheries management policies. She holds eight State fishing records and two World Record catches.

Miss Judy will present the changes in the fishing industry and fish populations she experienced over the past 50+ years. Her experience helped her realize the need for more management so that our children have a future enjoying our natural resources.

CCA raffle prize for this month is a 1/2 day inshore fishing trip with Miss Judy Charters, a $300 value.
