2024 Road Repair and Maintenance Project - Main Gate Repaving

The entrance and exit lanes at the Main Gate are scheduled to be closed for repaving Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 12.  During this project, Bennett Paving will have its eight inch milling machine onsite, which will help speed up the project. We anticipate the gate to reopen sooner than April 12. However, we have included additional days for weather setbacks and/or plant closures. Prior to the closure, staff will widen the lanes around the Main Gate to allow for two lane traffic on Landings Way South and Landings Way North. This will help reduce confusion within the community during the project, reduce heavy truck traffic driving through Tidewater Square, and help address any concerns/delays regarding upcoming community-wide events. Staff will send out a communication plan with detours and a map to help ensure this closure has minimal impact on the community.

Club Car Championship Preparations in Deer Creek

TLA Staff, in conjunction with BrightView, will be installing new plantings/flowers at the Deer Creek gates, along with pine straw in designated areas prior to the Club Car Championship golf tournament.  All lagoons along the golf course have been dyed and will be dyed again closer to the date of the golf tournament. The street sweepers, lagoon crew, and tree crew will spend a minimum of one day solely in Deer Creek performing their necessary maintenance cycles to ensure all common properties are in pristine condition. All work is scheduled to be completed the week prior to the golf tournament in April.

Low-voltage Lighting installed at Delegal Creek Marina Sunset Pavilion

In-house staff installed low-voltage lighting at the Delegal Creek Marina Sunset Pavilion to up-light some of the trees located in the front of the building. The new uplighting not only enhances the aesthetics of the building, but also provides additional lighting for those walking around the facility at night.
