Spotlight On Charity: Together For A Cure

2024 is the 21st year that the Landings Women's Golf Association (LWGA) has organized this special event to raise funds for cancer research and cancer patient support. Once again, there are many ways for every Landings Golf & Athletic Club member to participate.

• Golf tournaments will be held on Wednesday, April 17.
• Tennis, Pickleball, Bocce, and Croquet tournaments will be held on Saturday April 13.
• A reception will follow all events to celebrate!
• A live auction will be taking place featuring three fabulous trips!

All proceeds continue to stay locally and benefit the Mercer University School of Medicine’s Landings Scholar Program. These dollars raised will continue to fund the LWGA Summer Scholars program, which places five-to-eight summer scholars with cancer research professors at the Mercer University School of Medicine. The funds also support the St. Joseph’s/ Candler Health Systems Nurse Navigation Program specifically financing a Lung screening and incidental pulmonary nodule navigation program for early identification of lung cancer patients. In addition, funds will support critical services for Chatham County patients coping with cancer through the (SJC) Foundation for patients at their SJC facilities and through the Stephen D. Hollenberg Memorial Patient Assistance Fund for patients at Memorial Health Systems.
