Dry Rack Replacement – Phase Two
Uniformed Concrete has been grading and rolling where the new rack will be constructed. They will have a compaction test completed this Friday. Once that test is passed, they will begin to form the foundations.
If your boat has been temporarily displaced during this project, please remember to give us as much notice as you can if you need your boat. Wash rack space is minimal as well. We will do everything we can to accommodate requests. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Above Ground Fuel Tank
Guardian Fuel Technologies will begin installing the new underground fuel lines on Monday, February 19. The new aboveground fuel tank is scheduled to be delivered and set in place next week. Fueling operations will remain active during the installation of the tank and underground fuel lines. We do expect that there will be a couple of days when fuel will not be available at the Harbor during the final steps of the project. An advisory notice of this interruption will be sent to all boaters as soon as we have a scheduled time.
Free Vessel Safety Check - Saturday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 6, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tybee Light Sail & Power Squadron is offering FREE Vessel Safety Checks at Landings Harbor Marina. Due to the construction of the new dry rack, this first round of inspections will be offered to boaters with boats in the wet slips, on the ground level of dry racks, and those currently on wash racks. We will announce additional dates and times for the remaining boats in April. The inspection takes 15-30 minutes depending on the boat size. For more information, please contact Ric Walters at 207-229-7581 or email him (ricwalters27@gmail.com). An email was sent out to all boaters on Tuesday, February 11 with more details. If you did not receive this email and would like that information, please reach out to Jen (jennifers@landings.org).

There will be a Basic Sailing Course led by a certified SEAS (Society for the Education of American Sailors) instructor in collaboration with sailors from TLSC (The Landings Sailing Club). The class is intended to teach the basics of sailing to those age 21 and over who have never been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. The next scheduled class is for Saturday, April 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The water session will be held the following Tuesday or Wednesday based on the student and instructor availability, weather, and tides. The cost for the course is $100 per student, $25 of which will be refunded if you join TLSC within 30 days after joining as a full-time member. Every student must be a Landings resident. I f you have questions, contact Angela Margolit directly (973-296-8011). To register, email Angela (amargolit@hotmail.com).
Landings Harbor Dry Storage
We are currently in Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project. We have temporarily relocated boats that were in the racks (K, L, & M) being replaced. All K, L, & M rack boat owners should call the Marina directly (912-598-1901) to schedule boat movements. For all other rack locations, BoatCloud reservations remain open, although timing has been adjusted to 15 minute intervals to allow our staff appropriate time to access boats during the reconstruction activities in the dry storage area during the project.

Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)
Operating hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily
The last few weeks have been a little rough, with small craft advisories and gale warnings. The boats are weathering well, but if you have a boat at Delegal Creek Marina, it’s always a good idea to stay aware of the weather conditions. If you’re looking to check on the tide information, Vernon View/Burnside are the most accurate for Delegal Creek.
