Milling and Paving Begins on Log Landing Road Monday (February 5)

Wed, 01/31/2024

Beginning, Monday (February 5), The Landings Association and its contractor, Bennett Paving, will begin the milling and paving process on Log Landing Road from Westcross Road (near fire station #9) to Westcross Road (West Entrance). Barring any weather or asphalt plant delays, we estimate the milling and paving process to take 10 business days.

During this work, access to Log Landing Road will be limited. However, local vehicular traffic (residents, USPS, and emergency vehicles) will be permitted to drive on the milled surface until the paving process begins. Once the paving begins, access will be restricted to all vehicles depending on the progression of the work. Signage will be displayed and traffic control personnel located on site throughout the project to assist with detours. Please note that the connecting roads to Log Landing Road will not be closed completely, except for Cabbage Crossing. Cabbage Crossing will be closed at Log Landing Road during the project. Other side roads may be restricted at times, and you may experience delays, so please plan accordingly.

Additional communications regarding changes to the paving schedule will be sent via email along with notices placed in your mail tube. Please contact Landings Public Works (pwmanagers@landings.org or 912-598-5509) with any questions.

Thank you in advance for your patience and support as we continue improving the infrastructure located throughout the community.
