Recent Weekend Storm
The weekend of December 15, a storm came through and brought high winds and rain. 49 MPH wind gusts were recorded around 11:15 AM at Landings Harbor Marina. Our team was on hand during business hours to keep an eye on the boats and the Marina. One boat took on water because the bilge pump wasn’t operating properly. Our team pulled the boat out of the water and placed it onto a wash rack to prevent it from sinking. We also had a water line break along the docks. Replacement parts were purchased, and our team completed the repair.
Visit from St. Nick
On December 19 around 5 p.m., Santa Claus made a visit to Landings Harbor much to the delight of the kids that were waiting to greet him. He was surrounded by fire trucks sounding their sirens marking his arrival. Thank you to the local Chatham Fire-Skidaway Island Division for making various stops throughout The Landings to spread joy this holiday season.

Landings Harbor Storage
Dry, wet, and jet ski storage are currently full. We will continue to maintain all waiting lists. We are preparing for Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project. To do so, we need to plan on relocating boats that are currently in the racks that will be replaced.
Landings Dry Storage Activity
Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)

CLOSED New Year’s Day
This latest storm is a reminder to all boaters to make sure your boat is safely and correctly secured in your wet slip when bad weather is forecasted. Several boats' mooring lines were not secured properly and released from the dock cleats. Some minor damage to these vessels and the surrounding vessels occurred. Staff and other boaters assisted in re-securing the boats during a recent storm.
