CCA January Seminar

Larry Sincoskie, Marinas Director for The Landings Association (pictured at right) is the featured guest speaker for CCA Skidaway’s monthly seminar on January 15 starting at 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (3 Ridge Road).

Larry manages the operations at Delegal Creek Marina and Landings Harbor Marina, including the subcontract leases with Dolan Yacht Services and Carefree Boat Club of Skidaway Island.

The Marinas are a valuable amenity for all residents of The Landings that provide watercraft and vessel storage space for more than 400 residents. Daily sales and operations include the Marinas' fuel docks, dry storage forklift services, Harbor Store merchandise sales, kayak rentals, and transient vessel accommodations that provide funding to support Marinas operations. Larry will provide an update on the Marinas’ happenings and improvements.

Growing up on the South Carolina coast and hanging out on the beach gave Larry a taste for being on the water. He spent five years serving in the US Coast Guard. His time in the Coast Guard fueled his passion for boating that eventually landed him on the docks of a busy marina on the coast of North Carolina in 1992. He handled sales and marketing for floating dock systems to clients in North and South Carolina.

In 2005 he went to Florida to assist in building a state-of-the-art marina facility.  He managed the operations of that marina for nine-and-a-half years.

Larry enjoys being out on the water, DIY(Honey-Do) projects around the house, and grilling out with family and friends.
