Join the Skidaway Abigails on Thursday, December 14 at 3:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church to welcome Savannah Chatham County School Board President Roger Moss.

Moss, who became president of the Savannah Chatham County School Board on January 5, 2023, brought charter school and leadership experience to his new position. With the goal of success for every student, he approaches his work with the belief that each student has untapped potential. He also believes education is everyone’s business and all members of the public should care and be involved. He will speak about the challenges of his first year, including the need to improve literacy in elementary schools, and also the successes, including the selection of Dr. Denise Watts as the new superintendent of Savannah and Chatham County schools.

If you are interested in joining the Skidaway Abigails or coming to this meeting as a guest, please email chair@skidawayabigails.org. There is no guest fee for this meeting. However you must be accompanied by an Abigails member.
