Chatham County To Remove All Storm Debris In Unincorporated Areas By September 29

Chatham County Public Works has informed The Landings Association that crews will have all storm debris in unincorporated Chatham County, which includes The Landings, completely removed by Friday, September 29.

As a reminder, the County has placed yellow tags on some debris piles, which is an indication to their crews that removal will require use of larger equipment. Smaller piles and bags of debris may be collected sooner than the larger piles, as Chatham County has more equipment capable of collecting those items.

TLA’s rule on Yard Debris being placed curbside no more than 24 hours in advance of collection remains relaxed, so members do not have to be concerned with receiving violation notices.
