Work is underway on the repair and replacement of the Landings Harbor Pier deck and railings. The work strategy uses the combined forces of in-house staff and subcontractors, keeping costs low and the return on investment (ROI) of repairing the structure high.

Landings Harbor Pier is a much-loved amenity used by residents and their guests for walking, fishing, watching sunrises and sunsets, and accessing their vessels. Over time, the condition of the deck boards and railings had fallen below acceptable Landings Association standards. Additionally, the gaps in the deck boards created a safety hazard for users.

Join Public Works Director Sean Burgess and me as we discuss the strategy for repairing the structure, along with lessons learned from the Islands of Deer Creek Bridge project that will be helpful in completing this project.
