Dog Park Closure Next Week

Beginning Thursday, June 22, the Dog Park (large and small) will be closed through Sunday, June 25. During this closure, BrightView Landscapes is scheduled to replace the irrigation system in the large Dog Park. Both areas in the Dog Park will have open trenches during this time.

Amenity Tree Cutback Program

In-house staff continued to work on the tree cutbacks around the gatehouses and amenity areas this week. As a reminder, this work is completed annually by in-house staff to promote a healthy canopy, while cutting back any tree limbs that may impede vehicular traffic or use of the amenities. In-house staff is approximately 60% complete with the tree cutbacks around Delegal Creek Marina. Due to the heavy rainfall and storms across the island this week, staff is behind on some of the operational programs as they have been cleaning up felled trees and large limbs throughout the community.     

Delegal Marina Sunset Room Floor Replacement

The floors in the Delegal Marina Sunset Room were replaced this week. The new floors look amazing and the Sunset Room reopened on Thursday for rentals.

Repairs are being made to the wall over the sink in the Sunset Prep Room. The paint on this wall is peeling due to the humidity levels in the prep-room. The repairs will include the installation of plastic composite siding panels to avoid future issues with the paint peeling.
