Paving Begins on Bartram Road South Tomorrow (Wednesday, April 19)

Tue, 04/18/2023

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, April 19), Bennett Paving will begin paving Bartram Road South from Landings Way North (around the gate area) to Landings Way North (near the Dog Park). The paving is estimated to take two days for completion, contingent upon weather conditions.

Once the paving has been completed for the day on Wednesday, Bartram Road South will reopen for normal vehicular traffic and will be restricted again on Thursday morning (April 20) to allow Bennett Paving additional time to pave the remainder of the road. During the paving process Bartram Road South and all connecting roads (e.g., Wickersham Road, Priber Lane, and Willeford Drive) will be closed at various times depending on the progression of the paving. Paving is expected to begin between 8:30 and 9 a.m., and will continue until one lane is completely paved. Once the asphalt has time to cure (two-to-three hours) residents will be allowed to drive on the newly paved surface.

Signage will be displayed and traffic control personnel will be located onsite throughout the project. Please note that if you live on Bartram Road South and a cone is placed in your driveway or in front of your street, this indicates that the paving equipment is near and entry onto Bartram Road South may be restricted. Once the cone(s) are removed, access is permitted.

You will experience delays during this project. Please plan accordingly. Thank you in advance for your patience and support as we continue improving the infrastructure located throughout the community. If you have questions or concerns regarding this project, please email or call The Landings Association's Public Works Department (pwmanagers@landings.org or 912-598-5509).
