Landings Harbor Dry Storage Project

The dry storage project is back on schedule after a rain delay. Frontier Concrete is scheduled to pour the first building foundation on Saturday, March 25. We continue to ask that boaters give us a few hours notice for boat movements. We anticipate phase one of the project to be completed before Memorial Day weekend.

Landings Harbor Store

It is all about the kiddos and the ladies with the latest items that came in this week! Adorable 2T-6/7 sizes are available in custom design kid’s solar shirts. We have one design with everyone’s favorite pink roseate spoonbill bird (no it’s not a flamingo) on it and another with the nautical flags. New toddler size baseball caps with an embroidered logo in pink and royal blue. For the ladies, we have a new racerback tank in a blue marbled fabric and a new long-sleeve solar shirt with the NOAA map on the back, with markings where both marinas are located. Don’t forget, we have the infamous purple bottle bug spray! Mad Pharmacist Bug Repellant is available in our store!

The Landings Sailing Club

The Landings Sailing Club is collaborating with a certified SEAS (Society for the Education of American Sailors) instructor to offer a Basic Sailing Course. The class is intended to teach the basics of sailing to those 21 and over who have never been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. The two-day intensive course includes interactive classroom instruction plus an on-the-water session to practice boat and sail-handling skills. The next class is scheduled for May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have questions, please call Angela Margolit (973-296-8011). To register, email her (amargolit@hotmail.com).

The Landings Sailing Club held a race this weekend that included seven boats and 20 sailors competing. There were several lessons learned throughout the race, but a good time was had by all. Up next is the Geechee’s Sailing Club St. Patrick’s Day Regatta. They are celebrating the 44th year of the event. The Landings Marinas are one of the sponsors. Several of our members will be participating this weekend, March 25 and 26.

Landings Harbor Storage

The dry slips are fully occupied. We are temporarily using open slips to house boats displaced while we work on the rack replacement project. The wet slips and jet ski spaces are 100% full. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips and will fill the slips as available.

Operating Hours 9 AM – 5 PM Daily

Evans Electric began the final electrical panel installation for B- Dock this Monday. The electricity to B-Dock will be off for the next five-to-seven days during the project. All boaters assigned to B-Dock should plan to be without power at their slips. We recommend that you charge all batteries and remove all items from your refrigerator and freezer to prevent spoilage. Electrical service will be restored as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any questions.
