Girls and Boys from Illinois Club

Due to COVID-19, it has been a long time since we've had an event. For those not familiar with the club, it is open to anyone who has lived, worked, or even visited Illinois.

In the past, it has been a very active club and we have done as many as three events a year (e.g., Pig picking party, picnic at Sunset Room, and a golf tournament/dinner).

We will gather at the home of Peggy and Parker Pearson (51 Delegal Road) on March 30 at 6 p.m., to celebrate the Chicago Cubs opening game from Wrigley Field (game starts at 2:20 p.m. but we will have it recorded and it will be on several TVs). The club will furnish Chicago Dogs, beer and wine.  We will have traditional poppy seed buns and use the proper condiments.  We ask that all attendees bring an appetizer to round out the celebration.

We know that a number of members are no longer living in The Landings but encourage past members to attend this informal event to get the club going again. We also realize that many have moved to The Landings in the past three years and encourage you to attend.

Please RSVP by March 26 to Julie Begley (jbegley113@gmail.com or 734-320-2521). Go, Cubs, Go!
