If The Landings Company Exists to Promote The Landings and our Property Values, is it Working?

The Landings Real Estate Company attracts and represents home sellers and qualified home buyers through a comprehensive marketing campaign supported by professional agents and staff providing excellent service.

From 2014 to 2022 alone, The Landings Company generated and spent slightly more than $12m to market The Landings aside from its modest operational costs. During that period, 2,706 homes and 289 resale lots were sold in The Landings with the Company working with the buyer, seller, or both about 75% of the time.

As you can see in the chart below, average and median home values grew from year end 2013 to year end 2020 by about 25%. As the market accelerated with the impact of COVID-19, values grew about 25% in both 2021 and 2022, for a cumulative increase of 96% over the nine-year period.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, we think there’s an even more interesting part of the story…

Using MLS data and just the five years of 2018 -2022, we studied home appreciation in four key submarkets of Savannah by zip code -- the Historic District, Savannah Golf Club/Causton Bluff/Thunderbolt, Ardsley Park to Southbridge, and Isle of Hope/Dutch Island/Burnside.

As you can see in the chart at top-right, our median and average home values were double the next highest percentage in appreciation.
