Yam Gandy Road Update

Road repairs will begin on Yam Gandy Road, between Brandenberry Road and Landings Way South, on Monday (March 6). 

Bennett Paving will replace a section of asphalt on Yam Gandy Road (outbound lane) between Brandenberry Road and Landings Way South. This section of asphalt did not meet The Landings Association’s standards and specifications, thus requiring the need for replacement. The contractor received a bad batch of asphalt from the supply plant, which caused some unevenness within the roadway. All costs associated with the road repairs will be at the expense of the manufacturer of the asphalt.  

Yam Gandy will be open to traffic during the repairs. However, there may be delays. Staff will be onsite to conduct traffic control. Please use Brandenberry Road as a detour during this project. Barring any unforeseen complications, we anticipate this project to take most of the day on Monday (March 6).
