2023 Road Replacement Project

On Monday, Bennett Paving began milling and paving Phase 2 of Yam Gandy Road (Landings Way South (north entrance) to Southerland Road (north Entrance). They completed Phase 2 on Friday. Staff, in conjunction with Bennett Paving, are aware of some unevenness and bumps along the new section of asphalt along Yam Gandy (Phase 1 from LWS Northbound to Blue Darter Lane). The contractor received a bad batch from the plant, thus requiring this section of asphalt to be repaved. Next week, the crew will be beginning work on Wiley Bottom Road (North Side – LWN to LWN).

Contracted Tree Work

Staff contracted R&D Tree to remove several diseased and/or dangerous trees in and around the Deer Creek Village Gate this week in preparation for the turf restoration project that will begin in April.
