Skidaway Island Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K: February 25

The annual Skidaway Island Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K will take place on February 25, beginning at 7 a.m. at the Skidaway Island Institute of Oceanography. Click here to view a map provided by HalfMarathons.net.

Runners will enter The Landings through the North (Marshwood) Gate between approximately 7:15 and 7:45 a.m., and the gate will be closed during that period of time. Marshwood residents and their guests are encouraged to use the Main Gate while the North Gate is closed.

Route: The marathon and half marathon begin at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, continuing south for almost three miles before heading northeast toward the Landings Harbor Marina. From there the course continues south and into the beauty of the off-road parts of Skidaway Island.

After turning around at Tidewater Way and heading north on Landings Way, runners make their way through the Marshwood Golf Course before retracing the steps of the first three miles and crossing the finish line.

Please drive cautiously and courteously and cheer the runners on as they make their way through The Landings!
