CDD News You Can Use: Outdoor Living

As we look forward to spring, many residents will start thinking about spending more time outdoors in the evenings enjoying the natural beauty of our community and how they might improve their outdoor living areas for when that time comes.

These improvements might include resurfacing an existing deck, adding screening to an open porch, installing a patio, or adding exterior lighting. 

While outdoor amenities can enhance our outdoor experience, they also have the potential to disrupt the established character of The Landings and to disturb neighbors. As such, revisions to  the existing exterior of the home, new outdoor living features, or the installation of exterior lighting require review and approval by the Architectural Review Committee. If you are considering an update to your outdoor living areas this spring, please reach out to a member of the Community Development Staff at cdd@landings.org to discuss your project. We will gladly walk you through the Architectural Guidelines and review process.
