Skidaway Marine Science Day is Back!

UGA Skidaway Marine Campus is hosting Skidaway Marine Science Day this Saturday (October 14), from noon to 1 p.m., at the UGA Aquarium. It's been three years since we've hosted this campus-wide event due to hurricanes and the pandemic, so we're super excited to bring this family-friendly event back to our coastal communities.

UGA Aquarium admission will be free, and tours of our Shellfish Research Lab, oyster hatchery, and R/V Savannah will be available. We'll offer hands-on activities, like microscope studies and catch-and-release crabbing on the dock behind the Aquarium. We've also invited coastal partners working in marine science and coastal conservation to set up tables with information and activities for participants. For more details on this event, click here.

We hope to see you on Saturday!
