Hurricane Ian Update - September 30 @ 12 p.m.

Fri, 09/30/2022

Fortunately, The Landings was spared the worst of Hurricane Ian. The Landings Association’s Public Works Team is on-island removing downed trees and debris and will continue to work through tomorrow (Saturday, October 1) to ensure all roadways are cleared.

As of this notice, the team has removed three, large trees obstructing roads. Public Works is running all three Street Sweepers to keep up with the amount of debris caused by the storm. Additionally, Brightview, our contracted landscape company, brought in 10 additional workers to help with the cleanup.

Residents are reminded when cleaning their property post-Hurricane Ian that yard debris should not be placed on storm drain caps, roadways, or in the gutter valleys along the roadways. Additionally, please do not allow your lawn contractors or tree companies to place items on the curb.
