Landings Harbor Marina

This past weekend, the Super Full Moon created extreme tides in the area. The timing of low tide created very low water levels mid-afternoon in the basin at Landings Harbor. We are working with Georgia DNR, Civil engineers, and marine contractors to investigate options that will help prevent the silt and sediment from settling in the basin.

The new awning was installed on our fuel dock. This will provide shield from the sun for our boaters and dockhands while fueling up. All the materials used are made to withstand the elements.

Marina Ship’s Store

Last call for the “Cheers to 50 Years” merchandise. We only have sizes SMALL, LARGE, and XXLARGE left in the men’s polo. We do still have some women’s polos, a few t-shirts, hats, and golf towels remaining. There will be the Grand Finale 50 Years Event on the picnic grounds at the Harbor on September 10. It would be terrific to see people sporting the 50th Anniversary gear! The ship’s store will be open until 5 p.m. the night of the event.

Landings Sailing Club

Members of The Landings Sailing Club are participating in the Rhodes 19 National Championships taking place in Chicago this week. Those who stayed here will be able to attend the Beer Can Race/Social being held this Friday afternoon at Landings Harbor.

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is at full capacity. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips.

Delegal Creek Marina
 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Daily

Help us keep the marina beautiful. Whether it be parties in the screened-in porch area, crab trapping, or casting for bait, Delegal is limited on resources, so any effort to leave the docks and surrounding areas as you found them is greatly appreciated.

Evans Electric will be onsite Tuesday, August 23 to complete electrical repairs to the dock’s underground service feeds. Please plan to remove items from your refrigerators/freezers to prevent any spoilage. We expect the power interruption to last from four to six hours.

There are two unregistered kayaks and paddle boards that have been placed in the basement. Please contact Delegal Creek if you believe one of these could be yours. We will be removing these items from the property if no one comes forward to claim the crafts.
